COMMON SENSE SAYS: When your state is one of the states that lead the nation in COVID infections and deaths, and you threaten to fine businesses that mandate vaccines for employees, you’re complicit in murder. DeSantis has gone beyond reason, fact, and science and must be stopped at all costs.
COMMON SENSE SAYS: When Southern states lead the nation in chronic, preventable, health conditions there is something wrong. Republicans have allowed bigotry to flourish, and they thrive off division because they know it’s the only way they can win elections.
COMMON SENSE SAYS: When you skip a memorial for the victims of 9-11 and talk about scheduling a boxing match, you’re pretty much devoid of empathy and a sorry excuse for a human being.
COMMON SENSE SAYS: When someone who called military dead “losers” calls the families of the military members who were killed in Afghanistan, you know it was for one thing only: political headlines. A draft-dodging coward who used the military for his own political advantage stoops even lower.
