COMMON SENSE SAYS: We need to learn the lessons of Afghanistan and not deploy troops in a “war” that is unwinnable. In all likelihood, rather than learn the hard lessons, Republicans will continue to use troops as pawns in global political power. It’s time to stop that.

COMMON SENSE SAYS: President Biden will take the heat for the terrorist attack, but to call for his impeachment when Trump used the Constitution as a doormat is pure hypocrisy. Trump is responsible for over 400,000 deaths from COVID, not to mention a high number of military fatalities.

COMMON SENSE SAYS: The media is trying to vent its outrage over Afghanistan when the overwhelming percentage of voters wanted us out of the country. We should be asking how we lost trillions of dollars and over 2,400 lives in an unattainable mission.
